Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They work independently, operating imaging and radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols and ALARA principles. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, ensure patient comfort and safety, obtain clinical history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET. Maintain equipment, infection control, and accurate documentation in RIS/PACS. Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat if necessary, and support department workflows. Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and assist with equipment and supply management. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum of 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, communication, and patient care abilities are essential.
