Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Location: Athens, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The nursing professional will deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on both adult and geriatric populations. The ideal candidate will join a supportive team and participate in providing a full range of services to meet the healthcare needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Medical/Surgical department.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure maintenance of patient records and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
