PROGRAM ANALYST

Job Title

The primary purpose of this position is:

To serve as subject matter expert, providing technical expertise for research and development (R&D) efforts for Mobility Air Forces (MAF) by identifying, evaluating, and analyzing innovative technologies and capabilities providing operational advancements to MAF weapon systems and leading branch employees with tasking and scheduling authority on programs and studies being pursued and/or evaluated.

Duties:

Applying research and development (R&D), test and evaluation with Air Force military rated aviator experience, analyzes, develops, and evaluates detailed plans, goals, and objectives for identifying and evaluating advanced and special access required (SAR) technologies and capabilities to enhance MAF weapon systems to support joint warfighting efforts
Assesses and evaluates new state-of-the-art concepts and research/technology/findings/reports for their application to the development of new techniques for MAF aircraft
As Branch Chief, plans, organizes, oversees and directs the activities of Advanced Programs Future Capabilities Branch, ensuring that Branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements, established defense department and service guidance and meets customer needs
Represents AMC Commander to SAF/AQL/RCO, CCMDs, HQ USAF, JOINT STAFF, INDUSTRY PARTNERS, OTHER SERVICES AND GOVT AGENCIES, AND DAF MAJCOMs/FLDCOMS
