Job Details:

• Full-time is defined as 7.5 24-hour shifts per month; part-time option available at a minimum of 5.5 24-hour shifts per month (still benefits eligible)
• Active Texas license required; candidates who can start as soon as possible are preferred
• Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists
• Manage a 40% C-section rate within the delivery caseload
• Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually
• Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting
• Work alongside maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies
• Perform OB triage, admissions, attend deliveries, and provide inpatient care
• Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage
• Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies
• Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections
• Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
• Not accepting Locums or visa candidates
