Operational Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operational Support Specialist to provide administrative, operational, and project support for departmental and division-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data, preparing reports, conducting research, coordinating activities, and managing databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role is well suited for someone who is a quick learner, highly organized, dependable, and proficient in Excel with an interest in finance, budgeting, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for departmental projects and larger-scale department/division initiatives.
• Track and maintain project and operational information accurately.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Conduct research and compile information to support business and project activities.
• Manage and maintain databases and departmental records.
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and project-related activities.
• Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Support finance- and budgeting-related activities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Ask questions, learn new processes, and adapt to changing responsibilities.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Complete required training and learn new systems and business processes.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong proficiency in Office, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding or experience with finance and budgeting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet established schedules.
• Ability to learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities quickly.
• Willingness to work through complex projects and ask questions when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or college degree is a plus.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Experience with Insight Farm or similar business/data management systems.
• Previous experience providing operational, administrative, project, or business support.
• Experience working with reports, databases, budgets, or business data.

The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with Excel and business data. They should be willing to learn new systems and processes and have the ability to support multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 day onsite and 2 day remote.

Pay Range: $20 to $25
