Litigation Legal Secretary

Manage and maintain high-volume litigation dockets for multiple attorneys.

Prepare, revise, and finalize pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence.

E-file documents in Texas state and federal courts.

Maintain and track deadlines in accordance with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and local rules.

Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial settings.

Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and logistics.

Handle attorney calendaring, scheduling, and travel coordination.

Enter attorney time and assist with billing in compliance with client guidelines.

Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.

Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.

Anticipate attorney needs and proactively manage workflow.

Minimum 5+ years of litigation legal secretary experience in Texas.

Insurance defense experience strongly preferred.

Experience supporting multiple attorneys (3+ minimum).

Proven ability to manage a high-volume docket independently.

Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal e-filing systems.

Proficiency in calendaring deadlines and procedural rules.

Experience with trial preparation.

Strong document production and proofreading skills.

Experience with billing and time entry.

Experience working with insurance carriers and billing guidelines (UTBMS/LEDES).

Familiarity with case management systems (e.g., Needles, ProLaw, Clio).

Experience coordinating experts, depositions, and complex scheduling.

Prior trial "war room" support experience.
