Job Category: Residential Property Management Requisition Number: LEASI003872 Job Type: Full-Time, On-site Location Monticello Crossings and Monticello Village Apartments, Monticello, Minnesota About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer‑centric Leasing Consultant to join our team at Monticello Crossings and Monticello Village Apartments. The Leasing Consultant will guide occupancy and resident satisfaction, achieving leasing goals and building professional relationships with prospective and current residents. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $18.00–$19.00 per hour (dependent on credentials, experience, and location). Additional earnings include monthly leasing commissions and quarterly renewal bonuses. Key Responsibilities Manage sales/leasing funnel for assigned community Achieve sales results per company benchmarks Evaluate competitor offerings and pricing through surveys and visits Prepare office and tour path for business Create advertising online, business outreach, and grassroots campaigns Support community social media as directed Assist new applicants with approval and coordinate leasing documents; conduct move‑in orientation Provide service to existing residents and respond to housing needs Focus on resident retention through events and appreciation campaigns Communicate with onsite support and external vendors; handle package handling Respond to resident communications via phone, email, text, portal, and app Work independently and as part of a team, coordinating efforts with stakeholders Resolve resident issues and maintain Fair Housing practices Participate in networking and service projects to promote Centerspace Assist with administrative duties and maintain accurate records Experience & Education High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Background in sales preferred Skills & Abilities Strong customer service and communication Ability to read, interpret, and write lease documents Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Problem‑solving and reasoning in varied situations Computer literacy, including property‑management software (MRI preferred), Outlook, Word, Excel Physical Requirements Regularly talk or hear; sit frequently, stand, walk, use hands, reach; occasionally lift up to 10 lbs; near and far vision required. Travel & Additional Info Some local travel may be required. No supervisory responsibilities. Standard computer package issued. Mobile phone reimbursement per policy.
