Facility Coordinator

Description Clean Harbors is currently looking for a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their team at Carson, CA. As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting shipping and receiving operations, maintaining inventory data, managing documentation, and assisting with administrative duties to ensure smooth facility operations. Requires strong computer skills. Hours - 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Pay: $22 to $23/Hr. Benefits Health and safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5 Competitive wages Monday–Friday schedule Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment Group 401K with company matching component Employee Stock Purchase Plan Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement Opportunities for growth and development for all stages of your career Responsibilities Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times Performs daily tasks of drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading trucks Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements; able to use a scanning application Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management Prepares all outbound shipments for final destination: bar coded, weighed, palletized Coordinates load between hubs, plants, and central logistics; ensures transportation efficiency and maintains compliance with storage permits; dispatches transportation from hubs, maximizing trailer weights Assists in tracking manifest return timelines Maintains Hub Database Outlook – Hub Management Assures proper DOT exemptions are utilized for transfer and management of TTT containers prior to departure from facility Reports and assists on any issues that may occur at the hub facility, such as leaks, and notifies Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager May be assigned additional duties based on business needs Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Must be 18 years or older 1+ years of related experience Forklift experience preferred (not required) Ability to use computer Ability to lift 50 or more pounds Office work experience Excel, Microsoft skills Moderate computer skills Willingness to travel when needed to cover/train new employees Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
