Full-Time Scan Coordinator

The Full-Time Scan Coordinator is responsible for ensuring file integrity throughout the store. This role performs daily/weekly price audits/changes, as well as interacting with vendors and receivers to ensure authorized merchandise is brought into the store and verifying correct prices in system/on shelves. They will also be responsible for providing attentive and friendly customer service.

Create signs and tags to maintain accurate pricing throughout the store

Maintain accurate pricing files for all departments

Minimize shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately

Interact with Receiver and vendors

Ensure all equipment is treated/maintained properly

Complete all applicable paperwork

Follow direction from the scan coordinator

Travel Required: No

Store: Store/Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Regular vision and attention to detail. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions. Basic working knowledge of computers.

Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations. Promote sales through courteous and friendly customer service.

Occasional amounts of pushing/pulling loads up to 20 lb. Frequent amounts of handling, standing, and reaching. Constant amounts of walking, crouching, and bending.

Operation of the following: cash register, video display unit, POS, printer, computer, and pricing gun.

1-2: Prior experience in retail or grocery operations preferred.
