Traffic Project Manager – New York (Multiple Offices) A well-established engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Traffic Project Manager to lead the delivery of traffic engineering and transportation planning projects across New York. This role offers the opportunity to manage multidisciplinary teams, work directly with public sector clients, and contribute to complex transportation improvements throughout the state. Key Responsibilities Manage traffic engineering projects from proposal through final delivery Lead the preparation and review of traffic studies, signal designs, maintenance of traffic (MOT), and transportation planning reports Coordinate with DOTs, municipalities, utility companies, and project stakeholders Oversee project budgets, schedules, and technical quality Mentor junior engineers and technical staff Develop and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives What They’re Looking For Experience managing traffic engineering projects within a consulting environment Strong knowledge of traffic operations, signal design, work zone traffic control, and traffic analysis Experience working with NYSDOT and local municipalities Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills Preferred Background PE license (or ability to obtain) Experience with Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or similar software Experience managing multidisciplinary transportation projects Additional Info Multiple office locations across New York Leadership opportunity with a growing transportation team Strong pipeline of public-sector transportation projects #J-18808-Ljbffr Metric Geo
