The ideal candidate is a superstar who is willing to work hard, roll up their sleeves and support the founders in their day-to-day tasks, while learning about every aspect of what it takes to run a fast growing business.You will work directly with Encord's senior team and get unique visibility into an exciting, high-growth, mission-based scale-up.What You'll DoWork directly with the co-founders and other members of the senior team on a variety of projects and tasks: from presentations and spreadsheets, to basic reporting and various growth initiativesResearch: ranging from customer research to identifying new opportunities to supporting strategic decisionsTrack the ROI of various growth channels to improve resource allocation and identify new growth curvesDesign, release, and improve a careers page to attract the next wave of Encord talentEnsure we keep our start-up atmosphere as we scale: plan and coordinate activities and events (e.g. team outings, in-office events)Be an integral part in growing the business — support Encord's presence on social media, conferences, and moreCrunch numbers on customers' usage of the product to help inform our Customer Success team's quarterly success planningWho We're Looking ForA do-er with a founder's mentality — comfortable rolling up your sleeves for anything from an internal slide deck to a client demo, and energised by building something from the ground upYou take end-to-end ownership of broad, ambiguous problems and think from first principles to get to a result — without needing hand-holdingObsessed with outcomes: you work best when given a goal and the autonomy to find a way there, iterating scrappily and resourcefully until it's doneEntrepreneurial and comfortable context-switching rapidly — a candidate interview, an Excel model, and a vision-pitch draft might all land in the same afternoonDetail-oriented and proactively communicative — your team is always up to date, things rarely slip, and you're already thinking three steps aheadExperience Requirements2+ years in a high-intensity, high-velocity environment — early-stage startup (founding team or first 20 employees), top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a similarly demanding, execution-focused settingDemonstrated ability to take an ambiguous brief, structure the problem, and drive it to a high-quality output end-to-endStrong analytical and quantitative skills — comfortable building Excel or Google Sheets models, analysing product usage data, tracking growth metrics, and drawing actionable conclusions from numbersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished decks, memos, and external-facing materials quickly and to a high standardProven track record of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ballBonus: prior exposure to B2B SaaS or AI/ML; experience supporting a founder or C-suite executive directly; familiarity with GTM functions such as marketing, sales ops, or customer successWhat We OfferCompetitive salary, commission, and equity in a hyper-growth businessStrong in-person culture: most of our team is in the office 3+ days a weekGenerous holiday allowance + public holidaysAnnual learning and development budgetPaid trips to visit prospects, attend conferences, and host events across the UK, Europe, and USCompany lunches twice a weekMonthly socials & bi-annual off-sites
