Receiving Inspector

Job Title

Required Skills & Experience: 4+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, receiving inspection, quality inspection, aircraft maintenance, or test operations. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Experience using precision measurement and/or specialized inspection or test equipment (such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and nonconformances. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Job Description

Perform receiving inspection in accordance with inspection plans, engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements. Inspect composite, machined, electrical, electronic, hardware, and other aerospace components. Operate specialized inspection and test equipment, including X-ray systems, electrical test equipment, and functional test stands, to validate incoming product. Verify supplier certifications, Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, and required documentation. Document inspection and test results and release or hold material based on requirements.
