Packaging Associate - 1st Shift


Location: Camarillo, CA
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Overview


We are seeking dependable and hardworking Packaging Associates to join a fast-paced production and packaging team in Camarillo. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can maintain a steady pace, and takes pride in following quality and safety procedures.

The Packaging Associate will assist with packaging finished products, supplying production lines, palletizing boxes, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting the overall production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove finished products from the conveyor and package them according to established guidelines.
• Palletize finished boxes and prepare products for movement within the facility.
• Load empty containers onto production equipment.
• Supply packaging materials and components to the production line.
• Remove leftover materials and components from packaging equipment.
• Open boxes and prepare bulk bottles for lot number and expiration date verification.
• Break down boxes and dispose of packaging materials appropriately.
• Assist Quality Control personnel with preparation for upcoming production batches.
• Clean and sanitize carts and production areas as required.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain assigned work areas.
• Follow written work instructions, SOPs, cGMP requirements, and established safety procedures.
• Assist other departments and team members as needed.
• Perform additional packaging and production-related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently exert or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, pull, and move boxes and materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive packaging tasks in a production environment.
• Must be comfortable wearing a full-face respirator when required.
• Must be able to maintain the required production pace.
• Occasional overtime or shifts longer than eight hours may be required.
