Senior Valuation Analyst

About The Role:

As a CBRE Senior Valuation Analyst, you will prepare market value appraisals on real estate assets with supervision and oversight, training, and mentoring by senior appraiser or manager. You'll assist senior appraiser in the preparation of real estate appraisal reports, including entering data in the property database, taking photos of the subject and comparables, and driving the neighborhood. You will confirm data, conduct discussions with market participants, and perform research.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and complete analysis and research on appraisal assignments.
• Prepare written market value reports from cover to cover with analytical mentorship of a senior appraiser.
• Examine and analyze simple income producing properties and writes an analysis based on market comparisons.
• Research market area and analyzes current transactions and how they compare to the subject property.
• Attempt to make a comparison analysis based on sales of similar properties.
• Analyze of past revenue and expense performance and attempts to project a stabilized operating statement.
• May be trained to apply Argus (cash flow software) and 3rd party databases to compile data for appraisal report.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of one to two years of related experience and/or training.
• State Certified Appraisal Trainee license preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
• Average knowledge of financial real estate terms and principles. Basic understanding of approaches to value of real estate assets.
• Ability to understand and carry out general instructions. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good writing skills.
• Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Responsible for setting own project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine the compensation structure for this role, including a candidate's education, training, licensing, skills and experience. This role's compensation structure includes a minimum and maximum base salary and additional incentive compensation such as fee splits and other incentives. The minimum base salary for the Senior Valuation Analyst position is $47,500 annually [or $22.84 per hour] and the maximum base salary for the Senior Valuation Analyst position is $70,304 annually [or $33.80 per hour]. The compensation potential that a successful candidate can receive will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, performance, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance. This job will be posted live for a minimum of 96 hours.
