Contract Recruiter – B2B Technology Sales Hiring | Chicago, IL (Hybrid) | W2 Contract
ICON Consultants is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support enterprise sales hiring for a leading global technology company. You’ll recruit the sales teams that sell the company’s technology platforms and services to corporate clients. This role is for a recruiter who has hired B2B tech sales talent , partners closely with sales leaders, and can show the impact of their work with real numbers.
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Type: W2 Contract, approx. 6 months (Nov 2026 – May 2027)
Pay Rate: $40.00 – $55.00/hour, depending on experience
What You’ll Do
- Run full-cycle recruiting for B2B sales roles, including Account Executives, SDRs/BDRs, Enterprise and Strategic Account Managers, and Sales Leadership
- Partner with sales leaders to build hiring strategy, run kickoff meetings, and calibrate candidate profiles
- Source passive sales talent from SaaS, enterprise software, and technology companies
- Evaluate sales candidates on quota attainment, deal size, sales cycle, and customer segment
- Track pipeline health using data such as time in stage, conversion rates, and offer activity
- Turn hiring data into insights that improve recruiting outcomes
What You Bring (Required)
- Recent full-cycle recruiting experience hiring B2B technology or SaaS sales roles (Account Executives, SDRs/BDRs, Enterprise or Strategic Account Managers, Sales/Solutions Engineers)
- Experience recruiting sales talent who sell to businesses , not consumers
- Comfort carrying a req load at about 4–10 hires per month while shifting priorities
- Measurable results, such as hires per month, req load, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, or goal attainment
- Experience influencing sales leaders and hiring managers on hiring strategy
- Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- In-house or embedded RPO experience at a technology company
- Experience with Greenhouse or a similar ATS
- Experience hiring for enterprise or strategic sales segments

- This role is not a fit for recruiters whose sales hiring experience is primarily insurance agents, financial advisors, retail, call center, or high-volume hourly roles.
