Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs, to verify conformance.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including acceptance, rejection, and non-conformance details.
• Initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs) for rejected materials and collaborate with quality engineers and suppliers on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to incoming inspection processes and procedures.
• Ensure proper handling, identification, and segregation of accepted, rejected, and quarantined materials.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in using various inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM operation and/or programming.
• Familiarity with PPAP submissions and requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T.
• Prior experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification.
