Accountant
A growing manufacturing company seeks an Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support financial operations. Handle AR/AP, payroll support, cash management, inventory costing, monthly close, and reporting to owners and auditors. Full-time, immediate start. Atlanta, Georgia. Ensure accurate financial records, support operations, and contribute to company growth. Collaborative, team-oriented, and supportive of hands-on learning across accounting functions. Salary: commensurate with experience.
Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll assistance, cash management, inventory costing, monthly close, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger and journal entries daily.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Manage banking, cash, and credit activities.
- Perform inventory valuation and cost tracking.
- Provide information to CPA firm for tax compliance.
- Support monthly close and reporting to owners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
