This position supports company staff across all office locations and provides tier 1 and tier 2 technical support, endpoint administration, and identity management within a regulated defense contracting environment.This is an entry-level position structured for growth. The successful candidate will begin with day-to-day user support and advance into broader systems administration responsibilities as proficiency develops. The role reports directly to the Corporate IT lead, providing direct exposure to infrastructure, identity, and compliance operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to internal staff, including hardware, software, account, and application issuesImage, configure, and deploy workstations and mobile devicesExecute user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, mailbox configuration, group membership, and equipment issuanceAdminister Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user accounts, distribution groups, and shared mailboxesSupport Entra ID and Intune device enrollment, compliance policies, and endpoint configurationMaintain office network equipment, peripherals, and conference room technologyAssist with endpoint security, patch management, and vulnerability remediationSupport documentation and evidence collection for CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 compliance requirementsDocument all work in the company ticketing system and maintain timely communication with end usersParticipate in infrastructure and migration projects as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical disciplineWorking knowledge of IT fundamentals, including directory services, user authentication and authorization, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networkingDemonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical usersStrong organizational skills and consistent follow-through on assigned workAbility to work from the Herndon, VA office a minimum of three days per weekPreferred QualificationsExposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, or Microsoft 365 administration in an academic, lab, or internship settingCompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+; Microsoft MS-900 or AZ-900Internship, campus IT, or part-time help desk experiencePersonal lab experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, or Microsoft 365Familiarity with PowerShell scriptingInterest in physical security and access control technologiesBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision coverageLife insurance401 (k) w/company match 100% up to 3% and an additional 50% match of 2%Paid time off11 Paid HolidaysCompany Equity after 1 yearWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
