Pride Health is hiring a Specimen Processing - Pre-Analytical Assistant I to support our client’s medical facility based in Miramar, FL 33025. This is a 6-month assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Specimen Processing - Pre-Analytical Assistant I

Location: Miramar, FL 33025

Pay Range: $16 - 17.20 (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 6 am-2:30 pm

Duration: 06 months with possible extensions

Job Summary:

The Pre-Analytical Assistant I supports laboratory operations in a fast-paced production environment by handling, sorting, processing, and transporting specimens while ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.

Job Duties:

• Sort, rack, centrifuge, aliquot, store, and transport specimens
• Deliver specimens to laboratory departments in a timely manner
• Identify and resolve specimen-related issues such as missing information or incorrect specimen types
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow laboratory procedures
• Keep work area clean and organized according to safety standards
• Support team operations and assist with additional duties as assigned

Job Details:

• Heavy production environment with repetitive tasks
• PPE including lab coat, gloves, mask, and goggles may be required
• Flexibility for weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
• Strong attendance and punctuality are mandatory

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical terminology or laboratory experience preferred
• Strong English communication skills required
• Bilingual Spanish candidates preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
