Work Environment

This role is based in our onsite outpatient office located in the vibrant city of Richmond, VA. Our facility is designed to foster collaboration and includes state-of-the-art equipment and treatment areas. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with a total of 40 hours per week, ensuring work-life balance while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and therapy needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidenced-based practices tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery, promote functional mobility, and relieve pain.
• Foster a welcoming environment by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills, building rapport with patients, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing best practices and strategies to maximize patient outcomes and continuously improve the effectiveness of care.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.
• Meet and strive to exceed minimum utilization and productivity goals as set forth by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Strength, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across various specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Your role will significantly impact our patients' recovery trajectories and support them as they achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills geared toward effective patient interaction.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to establish meaningful relationships with patients, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with a keen interest in building community relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines in physical therapy.
• Experience working with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Knowledge or specialization in sports medicine or pediatric therapy can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
