Our center spans over 5,000 square feet of modern rehabilitation space designed to provide an exceptional patient experience. Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our rehabilitation center, which fosters a collaborative atmosphere where healthcare professionals work side by side. You will join a team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), sharing a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. The work schedule is structured Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable environment conducive to professional development while avoiding weekend shifts, allowing for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals and mobility challenges.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, aiming for approximately one patient per hour to ensure focused, quality care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize a wide range of techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Employ manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility while reducing pain and improving physical function.
• Educate patients on alternative methods to manage pain, emphasizing strategies that minimize the use of medication and the need for surgical interventions.
• Administer targeted exercise regimens tailored to each patient's specific needs, promoting strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on responses and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapies and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate care strategies and improve overall patient wellness through teamwork.
• Encourage and motivate patients during therapy sessions to help them achieve their full potential.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Most of our clientele are covered by private medical insurance, allowing for a streamlined approach to care without the constraints often experienced in larger healthcare systems. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Richmond, Virginia, with a clean record free of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated capability in creating and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to ensure efficient patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, enhancing your ability to effectively address a diverse range of patient needs.
• A background in utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative treatment techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
