Position Summary

We are seeking dependable General Laborers to join the Tempered Glass Department of a manufacturing facility in Elkhart, IN. This position supports the production of custom RV and specialty vehicle windows by operating cutting equipment, measuring materials, and inspecting finished components. This is a hands-on production role with training provided on the cutting process. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure.  

Responsibilities:

• Operate cutting equipment to cut window frame components and materials to specified sizes.  
• Load and position materials into the cutting equipment according to production requirements.  
• Measure and verify materials to ensure accurate cuts and proper dimensions.  
• Inspect cut components for accuracy, quality, and visible defects.  
• Work efficiently to maintain steady production and meet daily production requirements.  
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe while following company procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate basic production equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain consistent production.
• Must be dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to safely handle materials and follow all workplace safety procedures.

Schedule:

• 3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday | 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Occasional overtime | Saturdays | 9:00 pm – 5:00 am

Compensation:

• $20.00 per hour
