Position Summary

We are seeking dependable General Laborers to join the Tempered Glass Department of a manufacturing facility in Elkhart, IN. This position supports the production of custom RV and specialty vehicle windows by operating seaming equipment and inspecting finished components. This is a hands-on production role with training provided for the seaming process.  

Responsibilities:

• Operate seaming equipment to join, seal, and finish metal frame components and edges for custom RV and specialty vehicle windows.  
• Load and position window frame components into the machine according to production requirements.  
• Monitor the seaming process and make basic adjustments as needed.  
• Inspect finished components for proper seams, appearance, and quality.  
• Maintain steady production while following safety and quality standards.  
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate basic production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain consistent production.
• Must be dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to safely handle materials and follow all workplace safety procedures.

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Occasional overtime | Saturdays | 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Compensation:

• $19.00 per hour
