Job SummaryThe Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-impact orientation and operational training programs that ensure employees meet safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role facilitates classroom and hands-on training, evaluates competency during the 90-day onboarding period, and supports the continuous improvement of training programs and materials.This position plays a critical role in workforce readiness, standardization of procedures, and operational excellence.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Facilitate New Hire Orientation programs.Deliver classroom and on-the-floor training to new and existing employees.Train employees on quality standards, inspection methods, SOPs, and work instructions.Conduct micro-learning sessions and refresher training programs.Administer written tests and hands-on proficiency assessments.Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback to leadership.Maintain accurate and compliant training documentation and records.Assist in developing and updating training materials using PowerPoint and other learning tools.Support the consistent application of standard operating procedures across departments and shifts.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to training and employee development.Support special projects and cross-functional training initiatives as assigned.Support and assist in the oversight of the Training Ambassador programMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes / CompetenciesTravel requirements up to 30%The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
