Position Overview

Joyce Factory Direct is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Training Manager to lead the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of our In-Home Sales Consultants and Sales Managers across all Joyce markets.

This is not simply a classroom training position. We are looking for a proven home improvement sales professional who understands what it takes to succeed in the home and knows how to transfer that knowledge to others.

You will serve as a company-wide sales expert, mentor, and resource for our sales organization. You’ll help new consultants build the confidence, skills, and drive to succeed while continuing to challenge and develop experienced sales professionals and managers.

The right person is an engaging teacher, credible sales leader, and natural mentor who can train, motivate, coach, and inspire people at every experience level. This position supports multiple Joyce markets and requires regular travel.

What You’ll Do

• Own new-hire onboarding and sales training for In-Home Sales Consultants, helping new representatives develop the knowledge, confidence, and habits needed to succeed
• Provide ongoing training and development for new and tenured Sales Consultants while supporting Sales Managers in strengthening their own coaching and leadership skills
• Train and coach on the Joyce sales process, product knowledge, presentations, objection handling, closing techniques, follow-up, and customer experience
• Deliver engaging classroom and virtual training, role-play sessions, workshops, one-on-one coaching, and hands-on field training
• Identify individual and team performance gaps and partner with Sales Managers and company leadership to develop targeted training that improves sales execution and results
• Reinforce consistent sales processes, expectations, and best practices across all Joyce markets
• Serve as the go-to sales resource and mentor for questions, difficult sales scenarios, coaching, and best practices
• Help build a competitive, positive, accountable, and high-energy sales culture that motivates new representatives and challenges experienced performers to continue improving
• Travel between Joyce markets as needed to provide hands-on training, coaching, and support

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You:

• Have 5+ years of successful in-home sales experience in windows, baths, sunrooms, siding, roofing, or closely related home improvement products
• Have a proven track record of success in high-ticket, in-home sales and a strong understanding of the complete sales process from discovery and presentation through objection handling, closing, and follow-up
• Have experience training, coaching, and developing sales professionals; previous sales management or sales leadership experience is strongly preferred
• Can earn the trust and respect of both new representatives and experienced sales professionals and serve as a credible resource when they need guidance
• Are a strong communicator and natural teacher who can explain what works, why it works, and adapt your coaching style to different personalities and experience levels
• Know how to build confidence and motivate struggling or developing representatives while continuing to challenge top performers
• Are comfortable providing direct, constructive feedback, setting a high standard, and creating accountability
• Are approachable, energetic, organized, genuinely invested in helping others succeed, and comfortable traveling regularly throughout our operating markets

Relevant home improvement industry experience is required. Candidates must have direct experience selling or leading sales teams within windows, baths, sunrooms, siding, roofing, or closely related remodeling categories.
