Press Brake Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift

ExacTech is the primary supplier for Marine Travelift and Shuttlelift crane structures, providing steady, in-door work throughout the year. ExacTech Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, WI is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our first shift team. As part of a turnkey heavy fabrication team, you will run a computer‑controlled machine that cuts, shapes, and bends various materials. 1st shift: Monday‑Thursday: 5:45 AM‑3:15 PM; Friday: 6:45 AM‑10:45 AM Job Responsibilities Adjust machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature and amount of materials for quality production. Monitor and control machines on a daily basis to maintain daily and weekly production schedule. Complete quality checks and paperwork every day to maintain production and industry regulations and company standards. Make sure work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean and well‑maintained by performing maintenance and general janitorial duties throughout shift as time allows. Look over all work orders and instructions to see which ingredients, machines, parts and materials are needed to complete orders to full customer satisfaction. Engage in continuing education training and seminars to remain up‑to‑date on the latest industry techniques, machines, safety regulations and equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency. All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned. Job Qualifications Experience with operating large manufacturing machines is desired. Strong technical and mechanical knowledge is invaluable in this role. Ability to read blueprints and drawings is a plus. Ability to use a tape measurer and convert measurements into decimals. Following verbal and written work instructions. Regular attendance required.
