Eileen’s Special Cheesecake is looking for a dedicated Baker’s Assistant with Line Cook or Prep Cook experience to join our team! 

The baker’s assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of baked goods, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and providing excellent customer service.

What we are looking for:

• 1+ year prior experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred

• Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping crusts, and unmolding baked products

• Willingness to learn preparation and presentation of baked goods a plus!

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and sweeping and mopping floors

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and fulfilling orders

• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies

• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and handling food in a safe and hygienic manner

• Able to meet all physical demands of the job including lifting, standing, bending, and working in a kitchen environment with fluctuating temperatures and conditions
