IT Project manager (Professional Services)

responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Define and effectively communicate the overarching product vision, strategic direction, and roadmap.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related stakeholder communications.
• Take full ownership of the product backlog by writing exceptionally clear user stories and setting acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely on a daily basis with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, and Data teams to ensure alignment.
• Lead key ceremonies, including requirements grooming, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Gather and prioritize technical, business, and customer requirements.
• Make informed, data-driven decisions by leveraging analytics, performance metrics, and customer feedback.
• Drive all stages of product launches, oversee feature rollouts, and conduct detailed post-launch analysis.
• Proactively manage and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and necessary trade-offs.
• Maintain a careful balance between technical feasibility, business goals, and customer needs.

qualifications:
Must-Haves:

10 to 15 years of overall professional experience.

Prior experience working within a service-based organization.

Demonstrated understanding and management of project financials.

Strong expertise in hybrid delivery methodologies, specifically blending Waterfall and Agile practices.

Proven track record of managing application development, application migration, or platform implementation projects.

Nice-to-Haves:

Previous experience working with or within the Public Sector.
