Custodial WorkerSchedule: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PMWork Location: 100% OnsiteInterview: No interview requiredPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable Custodial Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility. This is a hands-on position responsible for routine and detailed cleaning of offices, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, hallways, entrances, and other assigned areas.The ideal candidate has previous custodial or janitorial experience, is comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift, and understands proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, entrances, and common areasSweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and maintain hard-surface floorsVacuum, spot-clean, shampoo, and extract carpeted areasClean high-touch surfaces, fixtures, furniture, doors, glass, and wallsClean and restock restroom facilitiesCollect and properly dispose of trash and recyclingRestock custodial and restroom suppliesSafely mix, label, store, and use cleaning chemicals according to established proceduresOperate custodial equipment including vacuums, floor machines, auto-scrubbers, extractors, buffers, and pressure-washing equipmentComplete deep cleaning and other project-based cleaning assignmentsMaintain clean and organized custodial storage areasMove cleaning equipment, supplies, furniture, and materials as neededIdentify and report maintenance concerns, spills, leaks, safety hazards, or damaged equipmentFollow all safety, sanitation, PPE, and facility proceduresAssist with additional custodial and facility-support duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facility cleaning experience preferredKnowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation proceduresComfortable using cleaning chemicals and custodial equipmentDependable with strong attendance and punctualityAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsSafety-conscious and detail-orientedProfessional when interacting with employees, visitors, and contractorsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
