Job Title Financial Representative – Patient Access Location Edgewater, New Jersey Job Summary The Financial Representative will support patient access operations by completing patient registration, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and managing account billing. The role includes gathering and scanning required documents, capturing signatures, and referring patients for Medicaid or financial aid. The position upholds customer service standards and departmental guidelines to ensure a seamless patient experience. Schedule Part‑time, 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM; weekdays (Friday–Monday) and holidays. Responsibilities Complete patient registration and verify insurance information. Collect payments and manage account billing post‑verification. Gather, scan required documents, capture signatures on consent forms. Refer patients to financial services for Medicaid/aid applications. Maintain adherence to customer‑service standards and departmental guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred. At least one year of work experience. Experience in registration, collection, and insurance verification preferred. Excellent customer‑service skills and problem‑resolution in a high‑value environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including telephone and face‑to‑face. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Must pass pre‑hire assessments with a score of 80% or higher.
