Stormwater EIT/Coordinator

Responsibilities Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities. Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations. Work on projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues and non-point source loading and point source design. Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without an EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
