Registered Medication Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our healthcare team in Fredericksburg, VA. The RMA will be responsible for safely administering medications to residents and patients in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Location: Fredericksburg, VA 22405 Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to residents/patients accurately and timely. Maintain accurate medication records and documentation. Monitor residents/patients for adverse reactions or side effects and report any concerns to nursing staff. Assist with providing Resident Care Assist with medication inventory management and storage according to facility guidelines. Follow all state and federal regulations regarding medication administration. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members. Participate in ongoing training and competency evaluations as required. Qualifications Current Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification in the state of Virginia. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in medication administration preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for documentation purposes. Work Environment This position is based in a healthcare facility in Fredericksburg, VA. The role may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of supplies or equipment.
