Nurse Practitioner Cardiac Support
Prime Healthcare is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support our cardiology team in Chicago, IL. This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity cardiac care setting alongside board-certified cardiologists, providing outpatient and limited inpatient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and cardiac evaluations
Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as CHF, CAD, arrhythmias, and post-MI care
Assist with medication management, lifestyle counseling, and patient education
Collaborate with cardiologists to monitor and adjust treatment plans
Support post-discharge follow-up and transitional care

Qualifications
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois
Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with cardiology experience
At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred
ACLS and BLS certification required
