Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment alignment.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to address their unique needs, goals, and preferences, incorporating their feedback at each stage.

• Delivering evidence-based therapy interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting methodologies based on client responses and progress.

• Providing education and ongoing support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• Consistently monitoring and documenting clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and client feedback.

• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, discussing treatment approaches to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health and mood disorder treatment to apply best practices in your therapeutic approach.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Solid knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists for integrated patient care.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes with clients suffering from mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n
