Staff Accountant

firstPRO, Inc

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team in the distribution industry. This role offers hands-on exposure to general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilitie

sPrepare and post journal entries and support general ledger maintenanc
eAssist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and account reconciliation
sPerform bank and balance sheet reconciliation
sSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as neede
dPrepare internal financial reports and assist with variance analysi
sResearch and resolve discrepancies related to billing, payments, and account
sCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reportin

g
Qualificatio

nsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fie
ld1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporat
e)Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferr
edStrong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOK
UPStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skil
