Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Transplant to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult pre and post-transplant patients with a focus on solid organ transplant procedures.
• Manage medical/surgical and telemetry tasks including frequent wound care and surgical drain management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC charting system.
• Administer and monitor drips such as Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin while ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including care techs and paramedics, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adapt to frequent floating requirements and assist in various units such as 4CS, 5 West, and Bellevue campus, as needed.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH and CPI preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a large urban hospital setting required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Experience with dysrhythmia management and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Must be nicotine-free as this is a nicotine-free facility.
• Pending Nebraska RN State License accepted; must be in possession at the time of submission if not already licensed.
