Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities: Accounts Payable – Full Payables Cycle including receiving, verifying and processing invoices in QuickBooks Desktop, processing weekly payments to Vendors General office expenses Client Expenses to be billed Communicate with Accountant regarding any concerns or changes with our vendor accounts – Clarifying any questionable invoices Credit Cards – Process credit card statements Gather receipts and information regarding charges to the cards Enter the charges into QuickBooks Reconcile QuickBooks to the statement Assists with 1099 preparation at year end. Front end work throughout the year Request form W9 from new vendors Invoice clients and prepare backup documentation Other Administrative Items as needed Requirements: 1-3 years experience QuickBooks: 2 years minimum Organized individual Prior Experience working at a law firm preferred Starting salary: From $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
