Job Description:
As an Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will design secure, scalable, and supportable technology solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, cloud, data, and architecture teams to translate business requirements into enterprise-ready technical solutions that align with organizational standards and long-term technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical architecture and solution designs.

• Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and operational objectives.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, application development, and data teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, implementation roadmaps, and solution documentation.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance during solution implementation and deployment activities.

• Assess risks, dependencies, scalability requirements, and operational impacts of proposed technology solutions.

• Support modernization initiatives involving cloud adoption, infrastructure transformation, system integrations, and enterprise platforms.

• Ensure solutions are maintainable, supportable, interoperable, and aligned with long-term technology strategies.

• Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, technology evaluations, and governance processes.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Expertise in infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, networking, security, and platform integration.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud environments.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable technical designs.

• Experience collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, application development, security, and data engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks, and technology standards.

• Experience creating architecture documentation, technical diagrams, solution designs, and implementation plans.

• Knowledge of infrastructure modernization, virtualization, storage, networking, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
