Travel Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - New London, North Carolina

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• 1+ year of recent Med-Surg nursing experience (medical-surgical floor required)
• Proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
• Perform ongoing assessments and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals

• Document patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and post-discharge instructions
• Participate in shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, monitoring for any change in patient status
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and facility protocols
