Shift Details

2nd shift - 3:15PM to 11:45PM (Monday through Friday)


Compensation
Total 2nd-Shift Pay: $27.50-$30.80 per hour
Includes base pay of $25.00-$28.00 per hour plus a 10% second-shift differential.

POSITION SUMMARY: To maintain all production equipment in a satisfactory operating condition and to perform preventative maintenance as required.

INITIATIVE AND INGENUITY:

1. Use of some judgment to plan and perform equipment repair where only general methods/procedures are available.
2. Develop Preventative Maintenance Schedule on all production equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform equipment repair on all equipment in a timely manner when required.

2. Schedule machine downtime with the Production Manager to limit non-productive time.

3. Obtain technical support as required to assist in the performance of assigned functions.

4. Request the purchase of repair materials in an expeditious manner to ensure limited downtime on equipment.

5. Perform routine maintenance to ensure peak performance of equipment.

6. Maintain detailed repair history on each piece of equipment.

7. Ensure adequate inventory of repair items is maintained.

8. Proper handling of all material, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Must be willing to work throughout production and perform all other related duties as required.

2. For proper dismantling and rework of all equipment and components.

3. Proper utilization of EPTAM's lockout/tagout program.

4. Ensure equipment is in proper working order before releasing back to production

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
2. EXPERIENCE: Over 3 years and up to 5 years in machinery repair experience.
3. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS : None

OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Understanding of various machines. Ability to read technical manuals, interpret schematics and interpret data provided by machine diagnosis. Some factory schooling if available on various pieces of equipment
