Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Multidisciplinary Cognition Therapy, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs through dialogue with individuals and couples, facilitating a therapeutic environment.

• Provide individual and couples therapy sessions, specializing in a wide range of issues such as grief and loss, family conflict, blended family dynamics, and behavioral issues related to substance abuse.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities and be open to adopting new treatment methodologies to enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve a diverse range of patients, including couples seeking to enhance their relationships and individuals dealing with personal challenges. Key client issues you will address include but are not limited to:

\n

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
