Irrigation Technician

Job Description

We are a small, growing company looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. This is a hands on position for someone who understands irrigation systems, enjoys troubleshooting, and can work independently while providing quality service to our customers. As a small company, there is plenty of room to grow and take on additional responsibility as your skills and experience develop.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system issues
Track and identify irrigation wires and locate valves
Repair and replace sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and other irrigation components
Install new irrigation systems and components
Inspect systems to identify leaks, wiring issues, damaged equipment, and other problems
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing irrigation systems
Ensure irrigation systems are operating properly and efficiently
Communicate with customers regarding system issues and completed work
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other irrigation related duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience working with irrigation systems is required
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Knowledge of irrigation wiring, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers
Ability to locate and diagnose irrigation system components
Experience installing and repairing irrigation systems
Valid driver's license and a good driving record required
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn and grow with the company
