Healing Music Specialist

Music Therapist | Legacy Lifecare VNA/Hospice $50 per visit – PRN, 5-20 hrs per week, Flexible Daytime Hours Delivering Solutions that Matter: Deliver individual music therapy sessions tailored to patient preferences and goals Use music to address relaxation, pain management, emotional processing, developmental support, and end‑of‑life/bereavement needs Collaborate with patients, family members and other team members to align with the patient’s overall care plan Locations: German Center (West Roxbury) ANRC (Jamaica Plain) Stone (Newton) BCL/Kaplan (Peabody) Revere East Boston Everett Malden Chelsea Winthrop Qualifications for Success: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in music, education, human services, or a related field preferred. Prior experience working with end‑of‑life patients, or in a long‑term care setting preferred. Experience performing music in healthcare, senior living, hospice, or community settings. Experience working with older adults, individuals with dementia, or patients receiving palliative or end‑of‑life care. Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.
