Job Description
Title
RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule
Weekly hours: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours/week
Shift options: Confirm shift in submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12)
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
- Travel RN experience: Required
- Previous charge experience: Preferred
- Trauma experience: Level II required; Level I preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience with the charting system: Epic (required)
- Strong cardiac knowledge required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing advanced medical techniques.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including titration of vasoactive drips.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Execute emergency interventions as needed, ensuring patient safety and stability.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to provide relevant patient information.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Pre-approved time off: Two requests allowed
- Facial hair must allow proper fit testing (may be required to shave)
- Monthly parking passes available (contact Public Safety)
