Registered Nurse ER

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) provides skilled nursing care to patients in an acute care setting. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality emergency care. The nurse must have at least two years of hospital experience, preferably in emergency or acute care, and maintain strong communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs in the ER setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for patient safety and quality care.
• Respond to urgent and emergent patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (pending license accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, including emergency department experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Compliance with hospital RTO restrictions (no more than 7 days).

• Experience working in an acute care or emergency room setting.
• Comfortable with grossing procedures and related clinical tasks.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems.

• Weekend shifts required as needed.
• Scrub or business casual attire.
• First-time traveler with emergency department experience is acceptable.
• Systemwide Do Not Return (DNR) policy applies if cancellations occur after signature.

• Start date: ASAP.
• Shift schedules may include weekends and are assigned based on hospital needs.
• No more than 7 days Return to Office (RTO) restrictions apply.
