Senior Hospitalist Clinical Reviewer for AI Training

Apply attending-level hospital medicine expertise to review inpatient cases and help improve how AI systems understand clinical quality, documentation, and nuanced decision-making. Role Overview

As a remote independent contractor, you will contribute real-world clinical input to a project focused on inpatient quality and documentation. This role is well suited to hospitalists who value clinical excellence and can clearly communicate complex clinical reasoning in writing and conversation.

• Review inpatient cases for clinical quality, accurate documentation, and appropriateness of care.
• Identify cases that are unclear, complex, unusual, or clinically ambiguous using sound hospitalist judgment.
• Provide clear feedback and explain the reasoning supporting each decision.
• Help refine the guidelines and review standards used to train AI systems.
• Document findings clearly and support determinations with clinical standards when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve difficult cases and questions.
• Maintain consistent, high-quality clinical review standards.

• MD or DO with 10+ years of attending-level hospitalist experience.
• Experience in inpatient quality, quality assurance, documentation review, medical auditing, or hospital quality assurance processes.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make clear decisions in complex or ambiguous cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading or contributing to inpatient quality, documentation improvement, coding, or quality assurance programs is a plus.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $70 to $100 per hour.
