Work Environment

As an Onsite Physical Therapist in the Home Care division, you will work directly in patients' homes, creating a personalized environment that enhances comfort and promotes healing. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions in their homes, formulating tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Utilize a variety of rehabilitation methods, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced modalities, to effectively address pain and mobility challenges.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise routines and the use of assistive devices, ensuring they are equipped to contribute actively to their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, patient responses, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, networking, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work closely with a varied patient demographic that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
