Hours: Monday-Friday 7-3:30

Pay: $20/HR

Location: Shreveport, LA

Position Summary:

The primary function of a Production Operator is to produce and package high quality medical foods and/or dietary supplements in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe, efficient, and profitable working environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Based on schedule requirements, he or she will be assigned to work in Dispensing, Blending, Compression, Coating, Encapsulation, or Packaging at the discretion of the Site Management
• Clean, Setup, and Operate equipment in related areas per approved standard operating procedures
• Maintain proper documentation as required by current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP)
• Take the responsibility as a trainer to train new and/or existing employees
• Follow all company procedures and policies
• Perform other tasks deemed necessary by area management

Experience & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical production equipment is essential. Recent hands-on experience in operating and cleaning pharmaceutical equipment is desired but not required
• Experience in a pharmaceutical production environment with an understanding of cGMP and cGDP requirements is desired but not required
• Possession of sound verbal and written communication and math skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment or alone
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment
• Forklift certification desired but not required
