Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for efficient and profitable overall operation of the branch. This includes supervising or overseeing areas such as: warehouse, drivers/delivery, inside sales, office/clerical. May also supervise outside sales staff. This individual will support district or branch manager in handling the day-to-day operations. Primary Duties Oversee and assist in the directing of branch purchasing. Assist with Job Management activities. Participate in establishing inventory policies and enhancement of the inventory control system to satisfy market demands. Contribute to setting policy on credit and receivables management as well as purchasing and accounts payable. Assist in implementing correct pricing profiles to ensure profitability while maintaining competitiveness in market place. Provide inside sales support and warehouse support as needed. Attend branch/company meetings and events as required. Overnight travel may be necessary. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree from four-year college or university; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Efficient use of a PC, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to effectively communicate via email. Have the ability to delegate tasks while running a large project on an as-needed basis. Valid driver\'s license. Pay Details The expected rate of pay for this position is $27.00 to $35.00 hourly.
