Job Details 80% in-office role. We are seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager with 1–2 years of commercial insurance experience to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and build a long-term career in commercial insurance. You will support producers and senior account managers by servicing client accounts, processing policy changes, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Manage a small to mid-sized book of commercial insurance accounts under the guidance of senior team members. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and producers. Process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, binders, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy changes. Prepare renewal applications and assist with renewal marketing efforts. Review insurance policies for accuracy and identify discrepancies. Respond to client requests and carrier inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Issue certificates of insurance and additional insured endorsements. Assist with new business submissions and quoting. Maintain accurate client records within the agency management system. Support producers with account servicing and client retention initiatives. Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and insurance regulations. Qualifications 1–2 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience in an independent agency or brokerage. Active Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe). Basic understanding of commercial insurance coverages, including: General Liability Commercial Property Business Auto Workers' Compensation Umbrella Inland Marine Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications Experience with an agency management system such as Applied EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, Applied TAM, or Nexsure. Exposure to processing certificates, endorsements, renewals, and policy servicing. Experience working with multiple insurance carriers. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
